i. Enrollment API – Real-time sync of enrollment data from PlanSource to the participating Boost insurance carriers. This results in a significant reduction in enrollment errors saving HR time and eliminating frustration.

ii. EOI SSO and EOI decision notification API – Evidence of insurability questions answered right within the shopping experience and return of decision information. Employees are more apt to complete the EOI process when it is completely digital within the shopping experience versus paper. This results in an HR effort reduction of 15 – 30 minutes per EOI decision request.

iii. Plan Configuration API – Automated import of plan details from the insurance carrier. This results in an HR effort reduction of 30 minutes saved per plan.

iv. Member Portal SSO – Single sign-on access to insurance carrier member portal for insurance details, claims filing, status and more. This increases engagement and plan utilization by saving the employee from having to remember yet another password, granting them quick access to the information they need.

v. Find A Provider API – Search for in-network providers right within the benefits shopping experience. Saves the employee from having to call the provider separately, increases engagement and plan utilization.

3. Simplified Self-Billing:

a. Efficiency for HR: Boost empowers HR professionals with a simplified billing feature. Say goodbye to manual reconciliation, and hello to an automatic payment process that saves precious time and reduces administrative burdens. This results in saving HR 1+ weeks’ worth of work each month!

4. Preferred Pricing:

a. Savings for Customers: When customers choose one or more qualified Boost product lines from a participating insurance carrier, they receive preferred pricing. This commitment to affordability enhances the value of our offerings, making a modern and intuitive benefits shopping experience accessible to all.

A Full Range of Employee Benefits to Protect What Matters

The participating Boost insurance carrier partners offer a full range of employee benefits while it may vary from partner to partner the products typically include:

  • Disability insurance – Short- and long-term disability, employer paid and voluntary options. In general, disability insurance is a type of coverage that provides income replacement for a set duration, typically covering a portion of an individual’s salary during a temporary inability to work.
  • Life insurance – Term life, voluntary, whole life and permanent life. In general, life insurance offers financial protection and support in times of need to a policyholder’s dependents, such as children or a partner.
  • Accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance – A policy that pays a benefit in the event of death or severe injury resulting from an accident, providing additional financial protection in such unexpected circumstances.
  • Dental insurance – helps offset the costs of preventive and restorative dental care, making oral health services more affordable for individuals and families.
  • Vision insurance – helps with the cost of eye wellness, eye exams, glasses and contacts.
  • Critical Illness insurance – helps pay for expenses for major illnesses such as heart attack or stroke. Typically paid as a lump sum benefit following the diagnosis of a covered illness.
  • Accident insurance – provides a cash benefit to help cover costs associated with qualified accidental injuries such as burns, concussions or broken bones.
  • Hospital Indemnity insurance – supplements existing health insurance plans and helps pay for costs associated with hospital stays.
  • Pet insurance – helps cover costs for veterinary expenses, such as vaccinations, routine care and preventative measures.
  • Legal insurance – grants access to a qualified network of attorneys at a lower cost than hiring a lawyer out of pocket, covering a wide range of legal issues.
  • Identity protection – Benefits typically include identity theft and credit monitoring features, among other benefits to monitor and protect one’s identity.
