What It’s About
Technology is rapidly transforming the world of benefits brokers. Larger brokers are now acquiring smaller groups with a very effective ultimatum: join our group and benefit from our technology, or watch your client base dwindle as they come to us for the technology you don’t have. But while the current climate is increasingly challenging for smaller benefits brokers, it’s not hopeless.
Join Kim Stout of BambooHR to discover how incorporating software recommendations into your benefits brokerage can help you improve the value you offer your small and medium business clients. You don’t have to build your own benefits technology to compete with nationwide brokers.

How the playing field for benefits brokers has changed in the last decade
How technology is replacing many processes previously done on paper

Kim Stout
HR Generalist and Benefits Manager
BambooHR
Kim started her career on the insurance carrier side working with brokers and clients. She loved working with companies to develop and implement packages that empowered employees to better understand all aspects of the benefits available to them. She then expanded her reach and ability to help clients by becoming an account manager for Arthur J Gallagher. After a combined 20 years in these roles, she found her new home on the BambooHR team. She loves her current position because she gets to be more hands-on and work one-on-one with employees. The benefit packages she gets to create at BambooHR give employees the peace of mind to focus on their roles and do great work.
