Mental Health in the Workplace

Approved for 1 HRCI credit   |   Approved for 1 SHRM PDC
1 in 5 adults will experience a diagnosable mental illness every year, and of those that are diagnosed, over 50% will go untreated. Breaking the silence and supporting mental health in the workplace is good not only for employees but for employers, too. Mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, can lower productivity, increase absenteeism and lead to other long-term health issues. But when those employees receive treatment, a majority of them report improved levels of work efficacy and satisfaction.
Join us for a free HRCI- and SHRM-approved webinar with Ultimate Software’s Dr. Jarik Conrad, Senior Director of HCM Innovation and Wellness Coach Dr. Stacy Cutrono to tackle the critical issue of mental health on (and off) the job. Jarik and Stacy will draw from their own personal stories and career experiences to answer burning questions about work-life balance, depression, burnout, and more, as well as the legal challenges that surround mental well-being in the workplace.
What you will learn:
Learn specific strategies for creating a workplace culture of holistic health and mental wellness
Discover why it’s important to put mental health perks front and center in your benefits program
Discuss how to present a business case for making employee mental health a priority
