Orlando, Fla. – December 21, 2018 – PlanSource announced today the launch of Calypso, its winter software release. The release features an option for PlanSource customers to participate in a beta version of redesigned sections of its HR user experience.
The new HR experience is fully compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and is mobile responsive, so the system will work well on any device. The experience is being rolled out in phases, giving HR professionals a chance to provide feedback and input on the design and usability of the changes. Select customers have access to the new experience now and, starting in January of 2019, all customers will be able to toggle between existing and new features. Areas within the HR experience that are updated in the Calypso release include the navigation, employee profile page and administrator dashboard.
“Our newly redesigned HR experience is modern and aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly, it provides immediate value to our customers,” said Ryan Baldwin, Chief Technology Officer at PlanSource. “Each section has been thoughtfully redesigned to help HR teams quickly and efficiently accomplish the tasks they do most often. We based the designs on months of research and invaluable feedback from our customers, which we will continue to incorporate throughout 2019.”
Also included in the Calypso release are new ACA features and Evidence of Insurability (EOI) integrations with Cigna and Unum. PlanSource has established repeatable, real-time integrations and single sign-on connections with key carrier partners, which automate the decision process for HR teams and allow consumers to answer EOI questions within the benefits shopping workflow. In addition to Cigna and Unum, PlanSource launched EOI integrations with Guardian and MetLife in previous releases and integration with Voya will be available in early 2019.
