Cigna Joins PlanSource Partner Program
National insurer works with PlanSource to provide employers with an efficient, cloud-based distribution tool for Cigna voluntary benefits solutions and services

Orlando, Fla. – July 19, 2017PlanSource announced today that Cigna, a global health service company, has joined the PlanSource Advantage program, which enables the sale and effective distribution of Cigna’s voluntary insurance products and services through its configurable benefits administration system.

The new arrangement expands the benefits options for employers and creates a convenient way to reach and engage employees. Employers are able to offer a comprehensive selection of Cigna’s voluntary benefits solutions and services to their employees, presented in a way that helps them become more educated consumers of benefits.

Employees are offered step-by-step guidance and personalized plan recommendations during the mobile-friendly benefits shopping and enrollment process. Content such as videos, documents, tools and messages can be personalized depending on consumer demographics, geographic location, family status and benefit elections, providing unique opportunities for consumer education and promoting products and services.

Flexible platform allows for a mulititude of benefits
The PlanSource Advantage program streamlines the setup of benefit plans and provides a great deal of flexibility and customization to employers. Through the PlanSource platform, employees have access to Cigna solutions, such as Basic and Supplemental Life/AD&D, Accident, Long and Short-Term Disability, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity insurance coverages.
