Brown & Brown Selects PlanSource as Preferred Technology
Partnership provides employers with a combination of insurance expertise, services and technology

Orlando, Fla. – January 8, 2019 – PlanSource announced today that it has been selected as a technology provider of choice by Brown & Brown, Inc., one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the United States.

The companies have entered into a reseller partnership agreement, in which Brown & Brown promotes and sells the PlanSource cloud-based platform to existing and prospective clients across all industries. The partnership came about after Brown & Brown conducted an exhaustive search, vetting more than 60 technology providers to find a partner that could meet the benefits administration technology needs of their clients. The company selected PlanSource as one of just a few benefits technology partners they recommend to national accounts.

“PlanSource offers a unique combination of software and services that appeals to our customer base,” said Steve Piccolino, Brown & Brown’s Vice President, National Benefits Technology. “Their focus on integration with vendors in related markets is a key to rapid deployment and high-quality outcomes. We’re excited to work closely with them.”

PlanSource works with leading insurance carriers and brokerages to provide employers of all sizes with technology for benefits shopping, enrollment, billing, compliance and administration, as well as a range of technology-enabled services. The company has more than 15,000 data connections and established APIs with insurance carriers, HR technology providers and other third parties, which facilitates the smooth flow of data between PlanSource and other systems employers use to manage critical HR functions.

“In an industry that is constantly changing, Brown & Brown has been a steady source of innovation,” said Adam Hameed, Chief Revenue Officer at PlanSource. “We are excited to expand our partnership with the Brown & Brown team to help companies optimize their employee benefits and offer technology that helps employees make informed choices and obtain valuable coverage.”
