What makes your company unique in the benefits space – what key benefits do you provide to employees?

Employer DDS removes all the confusion patients usually have with dental insurance. With an Employer DDS membership plan, employees will know exactly what they’ll receive and what it will cost before they visit the dentist. They won’t have to worry about surprise bills for cleanings, add-on charges for fluoride, and exclusions involved with standard insurance. A membership plan from Employer DDS guarantees that your employees will have all the preventative dental care they need.

What industry problems are we solving with our partnership for HR teams and/or their employees?

When Employer DDS surveyed HR teams, they found that the most significant complaints came from the requirements and restrictions of insurers. Many plans will require a minimum number of employees to sign up and a significant subsidy if you wish to help your employees afford coverage. The goal of Employer DDS is to bring more coverage to the masses. Their plans have no minimum enrollment number, and subsidies can start as low as $3. Employer DDS prides themselves to be a hassle-free option due to the waived minimum headcount and affordable minimum subsity of $3 monthly. A general subsidy can be applied across the entire workforce, or can customized down to each employee.

What is one thing your company is doing to innovate your product/offering to change the industry?

Employer DDS is creating a dental benefit that people can actually use. The American Dental Association found that 69% of people with dental insurance would be better off canceling it and working with their doctor directly. Why? The patients pay more for premiums and copays than their services would cost if they paid the dental office’s standard fees. Hence, the creation of Employer DDS. They help offices set up membership plans that include services every patient needs. By narrowing down the services, they create a plan that promotes overall health without draining bank accounts. These plans are offered monthly and annually, so they fit any budget.
