How current are job postings? 

We update our postings regularly. We are always looking for talented individuals to join our team, so if you see a position you are interested in, please apply!

Can I check the status of my application? 

YES! You can check the current status any time via the PlanSource Career portal. Access this with the login information you created when you first applied. 

Hey! What’s up with this assessment you sent me? 

If you received communication regarding our pre-hire assessments, that means you’ve moved past the initial stage of our recruitment process. At PlanSource, we not only want to hear about your previous work experience and your skills, but also want to evaluate your ability to find success within the PlanSource family based on our cognitive aptitude assessment and our personality assessment. We’ve found that these assessments help us predict your success at PlanSource in addition to what we learn about you during the interviews. You will receive communication on how to access the assessment and other pertinent details. We will also provide you with information on how to best prepare for the assessments We recommend you take that advice so you’re giving yourself the best shot. 

Why do I have to take this assessment before I interview? 

Great question. Along with your experience and qualifications, the assessment is a key tool that we use in our process to find the right candidate. This helps us make sure that not only are you a fit for us, but that we are a fit for you! We want this to be a match on both sides. 

What should I do if I submitted an application two weeks ago and haven’t heard anything?

We’re sorry. Our goal is to get back to everybody within 24 to 48 hours, but sometimes we get a little behind. We always have new roles and receive an abundance of qualified applicants. Chances are, we haven’t gotten to your application yet, but we will as soon as possible. We review all applications as quickly as possible and respond to everyone who applies, regardless of whether we are able to move forward with their candidacy. 

If I don’t see a job that I like, what should I do to get notified when a job opens up in the future? 

We strongly encourage you to join our Talent Community, so you don’t miss out on anything. You will be asked to join our Talent Community during the application process. 

Interviewing at PlanSource

How should I prepare for my in-person interview? What should I wear? 

PlanSource is a fun and casual environment, so when you visit our office, you’ll likely see many of us in business casual attire. That being said, this is your chance to impress! We recommend you dress business professional and bring 2-4 copies of your resume, as well as a notebook so you can take notes during the interview. 

Are there any tips for video/virtual interviews you can provide? 

Absolutely! Due to COVID-19, most of our interviews at this time are done virtually; therefore, we’ve included some really great interviewing tips to help you showcase those amazing skills! 

While you prepare for the interview, be ready to discuss the role you’re applying for and your previous experience. Keep in mind that we are excited to meet you and can’t wait to get to know you a bit better, so don’t be afraid to be yourself and ask questions! 

What if I need an accommodation for the interview?

How do I know if a position has been filled? 

When we fill a position, we will send you a notification and it will disappear from the careers site. This is another great reason to join our Talent Community. We will always notify you of new opportunities, so you don’t miss out on anything. 

How would I connect with someone over the phone regarding the status of their application / send the resume or cover letter?

How do I know if a job requires any travel?

We will note this in the job description. If there is any travel involved in the job it will be listed in the skills and qualifications section.

Will I need to go through the formal application and interviewing process even though I have interviewed with PlanSource before?

YES. To ensure consistency, all candidates go through the same process each time they apply for a position. Each position requires different qualifications and has different hiring managers, so consistency in the interviewing process is important in order for our team to make the best decision.
