Selflessly provides everything you need to set up and automate an employee matching gift program. We are excited to announce Selflessly as our Partner of the Week, where we highlight one of our unique PlanSource Marketplace Partners and the value they bring to the benefits industry. We recently sat down to discuss their unique employee benefits and how they support charitable giving within the benefits industry.

What makes your company unique in the benefits space – what key benefits do you provide to employees?

Selflessly helps HR Leaders engage employees in corporate social impact programs. Before launching a software platform to help employees connect with their favorite nonprofits, Selflessly was hired by companies to plan, launch, and execute CSR Initiatives. As part of the current Selflessly software launch and rollout, we still do walk teams through our consulting approach. We’re here to help HR Leaders and take the burden from you. We’ll walk you through planning to launch and execution. Once you launch Selflessly’s software, HR Leaders will need less than 30 minutes / week to maintain a fully-functioning CSR program.

What industry problems are we solving with our partnership for HR teams and/or their employees?

We are helping evolve the former payroll deduction United Way model. It’s needed to give employees a choice in their giving without burdening the HR leadership team. With Selflessly and PlanSource, we can help the HR leadership better engage employees and keep employees happier throughout the year. By creating a culture of selfless employees and giving back, your employees will grow stronger together. That’s ideal for every company culture!

What is one thing your company is doing to innovate your product/offering to change the industry?

We want to give employees more choices! Employees should be able to spend time or give money where they want. On top of that, we are looking at Total Impact vs. Dollars Given. What’s the difference? Total Impact equates a dollar value with volunteer hours. This way, it’s not just about how much money someone has given. Not all of us have money to give. Not all of us have time to volunteer. We want to give employees options to give back in the best way that fits for them. We even have an employee assessment tool called Employee Vitals that helps us better connect teams to missions and employee choice.
