Healthee delivers answers to employees about their entire portfolio of health and benefit programs in one platform. Their AI-driven technology delivers tools and resources employees need to learn, understand, access and use all of their health plan benefits, from open enrollment to completing routine, emergency and chronic care; without needing to go to HR for questions and guidance.

What makes your company unique in the benefits space – what key benefits do you provide to employees?
Healthee provides an AI-driven, digital and easy way to find details of health plan benefits coverage, cost and treatment options. Healthee takes an employer’s entire health plan benefits strategy (all carriers, plans and ancillary health-related programs) and ingests each detail into our proprietary data system. We then deliver instant, accurate and confidential answers to employees when they have benefits-related questions. Healthee also focuses on health benefits engagement, so employees can finally take full advantage of the amazing health benefits they receive in a meaningful way. Healthee delivers personalized outreach and education to guide employees to use important benefits like preventive exams and relevant wellness programs that are critical to sustained good health.
Features delivered to end-users in our app-based platform include:
- Instant Chat: Zoe, our digital health navigator, answers basic and advanced health plan coverage and care questions, including vision, dental and other health program inquiries, as well as health care literacy questions such as “what is a deductible?” Also, Zoe informs the employee if there are any out-of-pocket costs like copays, coinsurance & deductible responsibilities, before treatment.

What industry problems are we solving with our partnership for HR teams and/or their employees?
Employers spend more money on health benefits than anything else other than payroll. This spending combined with up to 40% of employees never using their benefits and ~40% of that use in treatment cost wasted, it’s a significant investment that is not showing any return. For employees that actually use their health benefits, most have limited understanding of their plans to begin with and do not have the time, patience or desire to call a health plan call center. There has not been an easy way to find details of health plan benefits coverage, cost and treatment options. Most employees simply give up and go to the HR team with confidential, private health issues that they may not want to share, only for the HR team to spend hours researching plan details to provide limited support to employees. Healthee supports employees and HR teams to eliminate these struggles and give employers a positive return on their health investment.
What is one thing your company is doing to innovate your product/offering to change the industry?
Healthee is the ‘GPS navigation system’ for any employers’ healthcare benefits strategy. We guide employees to the quickest, easiest and simplest route to better health. Delivering care, cost, quality and provider information in one engaging platform, Healthee supports employees with the valuable health benefits experience they deserve. And even more importantly, Healthee gives time-saving support and resources to the HR team. As we continue to innovate, we will be launching a plan selection tool, telephonic support center, and Spanish-language capabilities by the end of the year. We will also be launching our full suite of reporting and resource tracking dashboards for both employers and program administrators to collect information, track employee and plan changes and report outcomes for their population.
