What makes your company unique in the benefits space – what key benefits do you provide to employees?

Givinga provides charitable giving as a corporate and employee benefit. Corporate giving is traditionally expensive, complicated, and time-consuming. Our technology, Philantech®, helps workplaces create customized, innovative giving programs easily and cost-effectively via our platform, transforming corporate giving from an expense into a strategic asset.

By making it easy for companies to create philanthropic strategies that align with their corporate mission, we’re allowing them to better connect with their workforce, customers and community. Providing employees with employee giving accounts allows them to exercise their passions and autonomy to give, empowering them to support the causes they care about. This creates a community-driven giving network and a greater collective impact.

What industry problems are we solving with our partnership for HR teams and/or their employees?

Charitable giving as an employee benefit helps companies attract, engage and retain employees in a time when job resignations have increased 23% above pre-pandemic rates. America’s Charities’ Snapshot Employee Donor Research found that 71% of surveyed employees state that it’s imperative to work for a company with a culture that supports giving and volunteering. This result echoes Cone Communications’ employee engagement survey, where 74% of employees said the opportunity to positively impact social responsibility issues makes their jobs more fulfilling, and 70% of employees said they would be loyal to a company that values corporate responsibility. Employees seek to work at companies that give back, and it can be a strong differentiating factor when evaluating where to work.

Despite the benefits of corporate and employee giving programs, they often require tedious administrative work for HR teams. What is one thing your company is doing to innovate your product/offering to change the industry?

Technology is democratizing the philanthropy industry, giving more people the tools and access to support the charities and causes that matter most to them. By adopting technology to make philanthropic giving more accessible and inclusive, we are opening the market to companies of all sizes and generations of new, young philanthropists who will have a long-term and measurable impact on some of the world’s most pressing issues.

Our digital approach allows us to form key partnerships and connections that help our customers. We are constantly expanding our network of partners who open even more opportunities to have an impact on a global scale and increase our accessibility.
