We recently sat down to discuss their unique employee benefits and how they support health navigation accessibility within the benefits industry.
What makes your company unique in the benefits space – what key benefits do you provide to employees?
Dedicated Service. BBP Admin has always had an account manager-based model despite a lot of industry consolidation in the last five years. The most underrepresented groups in the TPA space have been group sizes 75-750 – they have no dedicated support, taking days to weeks to answer questions or fix problems. BBP Admin gives you that dedicated support you need via account managers, mobile app, online chat, email/ticket, and phone. Our mobile app and online portal allow direct access to employee balances, cost savings tools and much more. The employee forms found on our website give participants access to everything they need to know about their BBP Admin accounts.
What industry problems are we solving with our partnership for HR teams and/or their employees?
By teaming up with PlanSource, you can now have full FMLA and COBRA support along with any pre-tax accounts such as FSA, HSA, HRA, or Commuter with little to no setup. Being a marketplace partner, there is no longer a 60-90 day linkage time to link over services. FMLA setup alone used to be 90+ days – now, you can have full setup in 1-2 weeks. With technology evolving daily, our integration with PlanSource streamlines information already in the PlanSource system into our system. Thus, reducing the need for paper, duplicate entry, seamless implementation, renewal, and overall administration.
What is one thing your company is doing to innovate your product/offering to change the industry?
Customer service is the number one pain point for brokers and groups. BBP Admin was created by a broker almost 50 years ago keeping this customer service concern in mind with complimentary dedicated account managers on all services. Due to COVID19, leave of absence services have become more critical to groups, and BBP Admin’s service and price model makes this available to all PlanSource customers. Today, technology on pre-tax plans to help participants save money on FSA or HSA plans is essential. Based on this, our mobile app includes prescription cost savings programs and other additional services to assist participants with reducing costs and using their benefits.
