Armadillo is a subscription plan that covers the cost and coordination of repairs and replacements for major home systems including HVAC, plumbing, electric and appliances in your employees’ homes. Their technology makes requesting a repair and resolving the issue streamlined, easy, and at your employees’ fingertips. Armadillo receives high utilization from employees: on average between 1.5 and 2x per year. Armadillo is a benefit designed to attract new talent and retain existing employees who prefer to be a part of a modern WFH hybrid work environment.

What makes your company unique in the benefits space – what key benefits do you provide to employees? 

The world has changed and many employers now offer flexible hybrid work policies. For many employees, working from home – even on a part-time basis – is the new normal. Armadillo is a membership plan that connects employees to service providers to fix anything that breaks in the home (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, electric, appliances) and covers the costs of these breakdowns. Think of it as health insurance for your employees’ homes!

What industry problems are we solving with our partnership for HR teams and/or their employees?

Employers and HR teams can offer Armadillo to show their commitment to a modern hybrid work environment. Armadillo is a benefit designed to attract new talent and retain existing employees who prefer to be a part of a modern flexible/hybrid work environment.

What is one thing your company is doing to innovate your product/offering to change the industry?

We’re working with HR teams to offer Armadillo subscriptions to new homeowners to help them shoulder unexpected expenses. Our plans are an innovative way to empower employees’ financial growth. Many employers have started gifting an Armadillo plan to first time home buyers to celebrate their employees hitting the life milestone of homeownership!
