PlanSource, a provider of benefits administration technology and HR outsourcing services, today announced that the company updated its brand with a new PlanSource logo and website ( In addition, PlanSource unveiled a new identity for its integrated benefits administration, payroll & HR solution called, HRHQ.

The new identity better represents the company’s sole focus following its sale last October of Florida-based CoAdvantage, its Professional Employer Organization (PEO). The company since has tightened the integration of its benefits platform with its payroll and HR services division. The results are a powerful HR technology solution, called HRHQ, for middle-market companies.

“By deepening the integration between our benefits and payroll/HR service divisions, we expect to capitalize on the 50+ percent combined growth rates we saw in 2010 and further articulate the powerful value proposition of offering payroll and HR solutions to our brokers and their clients,” said Dayne Williams, CEO of PlanSource Holdings. “The brokers we have partnered with that have aggressively adopted both our benefits administration and payroll solutions have by far seen the most dramatic increases in new business, client satisfaction, and retention. By putting a fresh look on our brand and tightly packaging the HRHQ solution into the core of our PlanSource product suite, we hope to reach more partners and help them find success in the changing healthcare landscape.”

A New Corporate Brand Features Logo & Website

“This brand refresh drives home the theme of empowering our customers by giving them tools to be successful and make the best decisions in an uncertain benefits landscape. We chose the imagery of a trailblazing pioneer to tell the story of how we lead the way, helping navigate our customers to new and exciting places,” said Scott Carver, President of PlanSource. “In addition, we did not want our brand to have a traditional ‘corporate’ look without personality. It’s not who we are. We are doing something different and believe the new imagery, messaging, and website portrays that very well.”

The new PlanSource logo contains a bold, yet simple typeface representing both the confidence to stand behind services provided to customers as well as the commitment to simplicity in using our products. The colors contained in the logo are a contrast of black and white accented with orange. The black and white contrast represents the stark difference in working with PlanSource versus other industry players, while the orange remains as a way to portray PlanSource’s uniqueness and reputation for innovation.

The PlanSource symbol, an eclipse, visually denotes the company’s pioneering spirit.

“Seeing an eclipse is a rare event. If you are given the opportunity to see one, it is an experience that wows you and is forever memorable. This is exactly the type of company we want to be: unlike everyone else in the industry, different, a company that wows and makes you want to immediately tell someone about your great experience,” said Stephen Bruner, Director of Marketing at PlanSource.

The new website, found at, embodies the ideals of PlanSource as a pioneer in the benefits and HR technology landscape.

Integrated Benefits, Payroll & HR Solution Named HRHQ

PlanSource also announced a new identity for its premier integrated HR solution formerly known as PayAdvantage HR, now HRHQ. HRHQ extends the PlanSource benefits administration technology by adding integrated payroll and HR solutions into the mix. The result is a powerful back-office HR technology platform that can serve as the single source for HR management in middle-market companies. The name, HRHQ, represents a central command center that manages all HR data within an organization, an HR headquarters.

The symbol for the HRHQ product is a watchtower, which represents PlanSource’s commitment to look out and look ahead for clients and employees and their information through customer care and data security. The radio signal shown on the tower represents information that is always available to customers. It is fresh, up to date, and accessible at any time.
