Mobile shopping and enrollment shines in the Andromeda product release

Our Andromeda product release was successfully deployed from a galaxy not too far away! The release is bursting with enhancements and updates that we are really proud of, including a brand-spanking new employee experience.

New mobile-friendly employee experience
What makes the new employee experience so exciting? Three words: mobile-friendly enrollment. The new experience was developed using responsive design, which means that consumers enroll in benefits on any device, whether it is on a laptop, tablet or phone. And unlike a mobile app that consumers have to download, the site will simply adapt and look and work great on any size screen. Untethered and free to roam, employees can now shop for and enroll in benefits using a tablet on their sofa or on a mobile phone in the subway just as easily as they can using a laptop at their desk.

The employee experience will be available to new customers going live on the system after April 15. Existing PlanSource customers will begin migrating to the the new system starting on July 1.

Along with the new user experience, Andromeda is chock full of other great enhancements, including:

  • New Navigation in the administrator UI
  • New reports center
  • Report enhancements
  • Expanded business rules
  • Upgraded APIs and integration with MetLife

New portfolio of professional services
In addition, all of the professional services that came along when Next Generation Enrollment joined the PlanSource family are now fully available, including COBRA administration, benefit account administration, employee contact center, total benefits outsourcing, dependent verification, and custom employee communications.
