If you have not yet leveraged our reporting trainings, we strongly encourage you to invest the time in learning how easy it can be to create your own dynamic reports.

Query Studio – Make the Most of HCM Reporting

You can build your own customized reports in Business Intelligence. If you can’t find exactly what you need in one of our many HCM delivered reports, you have the power to build your own to meet your specific needs! To leverage this tool, we offer a self-paced recorded training for beginners. After you have completed the recorded training, you will be able to sign up for our monthly instructor-led training classes, where we will teach you how to build some of our most requested reports step-by-step using the tools you learned about in the recorded training!

Don’t Want to Write Reports? No Problem

Our delivered library of Business Intelligence reports has you covered. These reports have been compiled based upon the needs and requests of our clients. Just click on the Administration > PlanSource Intelligence > Business Intelligence tab from your web portal to gain access to our many pre-built reports. You can also share the delivered reports with your managers and other worry-free, as BI respects the security roles defined within the HCM portal, and will only have access to employee data that they have within the web portal.

The Administrator Guide – It Has Everything!

Are you familiar with the Administrator Guide in the web portal? You can find it under the Administration > Employee Admin tab. Not only can you find request forms and User Guides, but it also contains valuable reporting tools as well! When you are ready for your live, instructor-led Report Writing training, be sure you have these tools at your fingertips to make the most of your experience.

Hint: If you don’t see at full page of documents in the Admin Guide, look for the “More >” link in the bottom right to expand your horizons!

Getting Started in BI – Set Your Preferences

Find the person icon in the top right corner, and click on My Preferences.

Under the General tab, set the number of entries in list view to 999, and choose “Alternating backgrounds” under Separators in list view.

These settings will allow you to see ALL reports available in any given folder, and will provide the list with shading, making it easier to distinguish between reports in list view.

It’s Time to Dive In and Explore!
With your preferences updated, you are now quickly and easily able to see all of the reports available to you. Click on any of the 17 folders under Delivered Reports to see over 100 useful and dynamic reports.
